Pool Parties

Please read and look at the following information on the new rules for having a pool party. This information and a Request for Pool Party form are available from the lifeguards. Please make sure you follow these rules if you are having 10 or more guests. Parties must be booked in advance.

Colonies House Swim Party Rules

Pool Party during Operating Hours:

If you are going to be bringing in 10 or more guests, you must book a party 2 weeks ahead with the head lifeguard. Fill out the written request for a Swim Party, which is available at the pool. Follow the rules of the pool (listed below). Remember- No glass inside the pool facilities. No more that 2-3 parties can be booked during operating hours at one time. This will be at the discretion of the head lifeguard. (will depend on what the normal crowd is at that time) No more that 30 people per party. Parties over 30 people must be booked as a private party and held after hours. All guests (swimming and non-swimming) will have to sign in and the host of the party will be responsible for the $3 per guest fee. Turn in a list of expected guests before the party. Only pool members can book parties during pool hours. They must attend the party and are held responsible for their guests. Clean up after your party.

Private Parties must be booked with Colonies House Rentals 699-3043. Fill out the request for a Swim Party, which is available at the pool. Book parties at least 2 weeks in advance. Follow the rules of the pool. (Listed below) Remember- No glass inside the pool facilities. A fee of $100 (for pool members) and $200 (for non-members) will need to be paid a week in advance. Make check to Colonies House and give to the Head Lifeguard. The person booking the party must attend the party and will be held responsible for their guests.  Include 1/2 hour for cleaning up the pool area. If you need earlier set-up time, arrangements will need to be made and if a lifeguard has to come early to set-up, they will need to be paid for that time. You must have at least 2 lifeguards for each private party. There is a charge of $15 per hour per lifeguard. More guards may be required at the discretion of the head lifeguard and the Colonies Board. Private Parties can be booked on days and times that the pool is not open or already booked.

The pool is closed on Mondays, but the swim team will be having some swim meets in June on Mondays. The pool is also available during off days in May and August. After hour parties can be booked after 9 PM - 10 PM, for a fee of $50 plus the cost of lifeguards. No consumption of alcoholic beverages for those under the age of 21. No refunds for a rain out, but a party can be rescheduled if it hasn't started. Clean up after your party. Any extensive cleaning after the party will access additional charges. Please make sure that your guests do not make a mess in the bathrooms. The game room cannot be used.
